Computer Science tutoring, from first program to final-year project

One-to-one online lessons in programming and core computer science for school and university students and beginners. Choose a single course, or bring the subject you are struggling with this semester.

  • First 30-minute class free
  • Live, one-to-one, online
  • Female tutors on request
  • Reply within 24 hours

Who it’s for

  • Complete beginners who want to learn to program
  • O Level, Matric and FSc Computer Science students
  • University students taking programming, OOP, DSA or database courses
  • Final-year students who want guidance on their project

Before you start

  • None for the beginner courses. For OOP and DSA, some programming in one language.
  • A laptop or desktop computer, so you can install tools and write code. A phone or tablet is not enough.

Problems we help with

  • Lectures move faster than you can practise
  • Code that compiles but gives the wrong answer, with no one to ask why
  • Assignments that need an idea you were never shown
  • Not knowing which course or language to start with

We teach; you do your own graded work

Tutors explain, review and guide. They do not write assignments, lab tasks or project code for you to submit.

How lessons work

  1. Write code in every lesson

You share your screen and write the code yourself while the tutor guides, so you learn to type, run and fix programs, not only read them.

  2. Your course, your materials

Bring your university outline, lab sheets or textbook, and lessons follow the language and order your course uses.

  3. Debug together

When code fails, the tutor shows you how to find out why: reading errors, printing values and stepping through the program.

  4. Concepts before syntax

Each idea is explained in plain words and with a drawing first, then written in code.

What you’ll be able to do

  • Write, run and debug programs on your own
  • Explain the concepts behind your code in your own words
  • Approach new problems by breaking them into steps
  • Prepare for your course's labs, quizzes and exams with confidence in the material

These are the aims of the lessons. Progress depends on the student’s starting point and practice, and we never promise grades or results.
