Online tuition for international curricula: IGCSE, O Level, A Level and IB

Live one-to-one tuition for students at international schools, following the school's own syllabus and scheme of work through the year, not only before exams. Classes run at times that suit your time zone, and fees are in US dollars, or Saudi riyals for families in Saudi Arabia.

Who IGCSE, A Level and IB tuition is for

  • Students at international and British schools taking Cambridge IGCSE, O Level, AS or A Level
  • IB students, including the Diploma Programme
  • Students at American-curriculum schools
  • Students at schools following Gulf national curricula, such as those of Saudi Arabia and the UAE
  • Pakistani families abroad, in the Gulf, the UK and elsewhere, who want a tutor who understands both systems
  • Students who have moved country and changed curriculum mid-way

Before you start

  • No entry test. Tell us the curriculum, the grade or year, the subjects and, if you have it, the syllabus code or textbook.
  • A recent report, test or piece of homework helps the tutor see where to start.
  • A computer or tablet with a stable connection, and Microsoft Teams or Zoom.

Problems we help with

  • Local tutors who do not know the student's curriculum or its paper format
  • Joining a new school mid-way, with gaps from a different curriculum
  • Schemes of work that move faster than the student can keep up with
  • Coursework, internal assessments and command words that are new to the family
  • Finding class times that fit school, activities and a different time zone

Coursework and assessments stay the student's own

Tutors explain, give feedback and ask questions, but never write coursework, internal assessments or any work that is marked. Check your school's rules on outside help.

How lessons follow your school’s curriculum

  1. Start from the syllabus

Before the free 30-minute class, we ask for the curriculum, the subject and, if possible, the syllabus code, so the tutor arrives knowing what the student is studying.

  2. Follow the school's order

Lessons track the school's scheme of work, so tuition explains this week's topic instead of running a separate course alongside it.

  3. Teach the exam's language

Students learn what each command word asks for and how marks are awarded in their curriculum, from the first term, not only in the last weeks before exams.

  4. Fit your time zone

Class times are agreed in your local time. Families in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, the UK and elsewhere choose the days and times that work for them.

Working on a shared whiteboard

Questions from the student’s own syllabus go on a shared Conceptboard whiteboard during the call. The student works through them on the same board, so the tutor sees the method, not just the answer.

What you’ll be able to do

  • Keep up with the school's scheme of work through the year
  • Understand what each command word and question type is asking for
  • Close gaps left by a change of school or curriculum
  • Approach coursework, assessments and exams with a clear plan
  • Know which topics are secure and which need more practice

These are the aims of the lessons. Progress depends on the student’s starting point and practice, and we never promise grades or results.

International curriculum questions

The questions students and parents ask us most, filed where you can find them. Pull a card to read it.

Which international curricula do you teach?

Cambridge IGCSE, O Level, AS and A Level; the British curriculum, including Key Stages 2 and 3 and GCSE; the International Baccalaureate (IB); the American curriculum; and Gulf national curricula such as those of Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Tell us yours and we match a tutor who knows it before the free class.

How is this different from your exam preparation?

This is year-round tuition that follows the school's syllabus from the first term. Exam preparation is a focused revision plan with past papers before a specific exam. Many students do both: steady tuition through the year, then exam preparation in the final weeks.

School Exam Preparation

We live in Saudi Arabia. How do fees work?

Families in Saudi Arabia pay in Saudi riyals, with 20% off the US dollar price. The fees table on this page shows both price lists.

Tutoring in Saudi Arabia

Can classes fit our time zone?

Yes. Tutors teach on weekdays and at weekends, and class times are agreed in your local time, around school and activities, wherever you live: the Gulf, the UK, North America, Australia or East Asia. Tell us your city and the times that suit you when you get in touch.

Which subjects can you teach for IGCSE, A Level and IB?

Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, Arabic, Urdu and Computer Science as a school subject. Each subject has its own tutor match and its own monthly plan.

Online physics tuition

My child changed curriculum this year. Can you help them catch up?

Yes. In the free class the tutor checks which topics from the new curriculum the student has not met yet, and plans lessons to close those gaps while keeping up with current classwork.

Will the tutor do coursework or IB internal assessments?

No. Tutors explain the task, the assessment criteria and the skills involved, and give feedback on the student's own drafts. The work submitted must be the student's.

Can we ask for a female tutor?

Yes. Female tutors are available. Tell us when you get in touch and we confirm the tutor with you before the free class.
